Lease contracts for wind farms and solar parks are lucrative

In many cases, the land can be put to dual use, so it’s a win-win situation

Does your land meet the requirements for building a solar park?

GERMANY, SPAIN, NETHERLANDS, ITALY AND DENMARK

Not in a nature conservation area

Your land should not be inside a nature conservation area. Regions with a high risk of flooding are also problematic. Further, solar parks have to located at least 200 m away from residential buildings. Wind farms have to be at least 800 m distant from the nearest residential building.

At least 5 ha

Your land should extend uninterrupted over at least 5 hectares. Efficient PV plants can be planned and marketed on land that is larger than 5 hectares.

<16° gradient (slope)

To guarantee maximum performance with minimum shade, the gradient (slope) of your land should not exceed 16°.
